Responsibilities

:

We are seeking a

Quality and Risk Specialist

to provide oversight of quality improvement activities that focus on wellness, clinical management, medication management, risk management, staff training, education, staff performance and survey preparedness. Specific duties will include managing assigned community to ensure optimal performance, working with the community management staff and corporate staff in planning all aspects of community clinical management, and conducting routine audits of services being provided. Key functions will also include managing the department budget for revenue and expenses, ensuring optimum occupancy and resident retention through sales and marketing efforts, and making certain that staff members are providing excellent customer service to our residents. Other duties will include ensuring that employees receive required training.

Qualifications

:

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse

• Must be licensed in good standing if required by the State Licensing Authority

• Proven record of success as a Nursing Director in Assisted Living or Long Term Care environment.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, state regulatory agencies, hospitals and the general public.

• Must meet all state health requirements

• Subject to criminal background check

• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must be able to work within a constantly changing environment.

• Must have at least two (2) years of management experience in the Assisted Living or Long Term Care profession.

• Ability to work full-time, with some weekend work.

• Availability by phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.



Ability to travel to assigned community (up to 100%) without restriction.
