Responsibilities :
As Senior Community Relations Director , you’ll primarily be responsible for meeting occupancy and revenue goals as a result of the development and implementation of an effective sales and marketing campaign as well as customer-oriented internal systems. Responsibilities in this role include supervising and assigning significant sales support duties and directing the work of concierge and other designated support staff, making sales calls to various organizations and community contacts and ensuring that responses to inquiries are handled properly and in a timely manner. This position will also train new Community Relation Directors and manage the operation of the Community Relations Department at one or more communities.
Qualifications :
Position requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Communications or a related field is preferred.
• Sales/marketing experience with at least one year experience as Community Relations Director or a similar role.
• Experience in a retirement community, a nursing home or an assisted living industry.
• Excellent customer service, supervisory and leadership abilities with a commitment to employee development.
• Ability to effectively provide training and support to new Community Relations Directors.
• Compassion for and the desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
